Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on AgriHire you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and any additional policies referenced here.

2. Who can use AgriHire

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Workers must hold valid Australian work rights (citizen, PR, or visa permitting agricultural work).
• Employers must be an ABN-registered Australian agricultural business.
• Employers in VIC, QLD and SA must hold a current Labour Hire Licence where required.

3. Fees

• Workers: free. AgriHire does not charge workers to register, apply, or communicate. This is consistent with the Fair Work Act 2009.
• Employers: pay per job post, per unlock, or via subscription as shown on the pricing page. All amounts are in AUD and include GST where applicable.

4. Conduct

• Accurate information only. Misrepresenting visa status, experience, or identity is grounds for immediate removal.
• No discrimination on the basis of race, sex, age, religion or other protected attributes under Australian anti-discrimination law.
• Employers must pay at or above the Horticulture Award 2020 / Pastoral Award 2020 minimums.
• No direct solicitation to circumvent platform fees.

5. Visa verification

AgriHire offers VEVO-based visa checks as a convenience. Employers remain legally responsible for verifying work rights directly with Home Affairs before hiring.

6. Intellectual property

The AgriHire platform, logo and content are owned by AgriHire Australia. Users retain ownership of their own content and grant us a licence to display it on the platform.

7. Disclaimers

• AgriHire is a marketplace, not an employer. We do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of any job or worker.
• We provide no warranty that matches will result in a successful hire.
• Payments made outside the platform are not covered by our dispute resolution.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgriHire's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

10. Disputes

Disputes are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You agree to attempt resolution via our support team before escalation.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email 14 days in advance.
